Yeah so not from a story point of view but from a loot point of view.

A fighter being blackmailed by bhelen aeducan to drop out of the proving it s up to the warden to fight in his stead or to find the letters he is being blackmailed with. Most choose based on the quests given. Granted rica won t talk to me because i chose harrowmont but she. I cant find a post but somebody described how you can side with bhelen and still open proving grounds do proving fights and still side with bhelen after.

The way the harrowmonts will secure the throne will be through the proving the coliseum like location where combatants do their best to impress their dwarven ancestors. Dulin wants you to fight. Mages will need to be careful about being hit by the strong dwarf fighters but any half decent mage should be able to stun freeze or paralyze your opponents. As you leave the proving vartag awaits you and you cannot choose bhelen anymore unless you persuade vartag that you have gained the trust of harrowmont and can now get more information for him.

The fighters in the proving are pretty easy to stun so you should be able to take them out of the fight quickly and then finish them off. I dont want to go too far for both ppl and get the lock out bug. I play as a mage and would there be anything cool in store for me if i picked one over the other. At the moment i would probably go with bhelen as i am playing an evil character but if harrowmont gives out better loot i might have to rethink this decision.

Here it is suggested that the dwarf noble has a good relationship with their younger brother while they both are on bad terms with trian. I cant find it and was wondering if somebody could walk me through how to do this. This time i sided with bhelen. Involved in a lord s trust. You gain the quest betrayed from within by taking this route. Bhelen is ruthless but he does actually improve the lot of the poorer dwarves harrowmont is mostly a incompetent boob story wise.
